AMSA – TEC AGREEMENT

Last Friday, May 6th, a collaboration agreement was signed between the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey through the Ignacio A. Santos School of Medicine (EMCS), Dr. Jorge E. Valdez, Dean of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences of the Tecnológico de Monterrey and Rebeca Aguilar Álvarez, Executive Director of AMSA, as representative of Alianza Médica para la Salud (Medical Alliance for Health).

The purpose of this agreement is to combine efforts and resources in order to

promote more effectively the joint participation in programs, training, diploma courses, postgraduate courses, projects, etc, for academic purposes, scientific research, technological development, as well as educational, cultural and other activities that contribute to the promotion of academic and educational culture in our country. The strengthening of AMSA and TEC to carry out the participation of executives and directors of AMSA and TEC in sessions within the classrooms of the TEC School of Medicine, so students can learn about real cases and how they are faced in daily life in their areas of work and collaborate for the benefit of better medical care.

This is one more effort by AMSA to fulfill our mission and improve the quality of health services in Mexico.
