The transition process has already begun in the Ministry of Health. In recent days, a series of sessions have been taking place to hand over different areas of the department to the team of Dr. David Kershenobich, the next Secretary of Health in the cabinet of President-elect Claudia Sheinbaum.
One of these sections was the coordination of the CCINSHAE (Coordinating Commission of National Institutes of Health and High Specialty Hospitals), which is now in charge of Dr. Marta Zapata. AMSA has had the honor of having the doctor participate as a fellow, professor and ambassador, which is why we are very happy about her new appointment.
On behalf of the Board of Trustees and the AMSA work team, we extend warm congratulations to Dr. Marta Zapata for her appointment as coordinator of the CCINSHAE.
