The Austrian American Association “Music for Medicine” held a magnificent gala last Monday, December 2, to Benefit the Open Medical Institute, in Manhattan.
It was a fantastic evening at “The Metropolitan Club”, where guests were able to enjoy spectacular Christmas decorations, classical music, a lively auction and a Delicious dinner, where AMSA was also present, with the assistance of Pablo Legorreta, Founder and Honorary Life Chairman and Becky Sáenz, Executive Director.
Since 1984, a group of Americans and Austrians eager to Foster closer ties between the two countries founded the American Austrian Foundation (AAF). The AAF created the Open Medical Institute (OMI) in 1993 as an educational initiative for medical professionals to improve healthcare on a global scale.
