Medical education began to be organized in 1957, the year of the foundation of AMFEM, which is a medical-academic organization that promotes the development of quality medical education with the aim of responding to the health needs of society and promoting the innovation of articulated models of training, care and research, using cutting-edge scientific, technological, bioethical and ecological knowledge that links the local with the global.
As part of its celebration, the VII International Congress of Medical Education and the VI International Congress of Simulation in Medical Education will be held.
